We fabricated custom steel brackets to support the glass floating shelves, using 1-inch thick steel bars cut and welded into an L-shape for stability. Fabrication took 2 days in our workshop, where we precision-cut and welded the brackets, then powder-coated them in a satin black finish to match the home’s modern decor. Installation at Rivka Cove in Sunridge was completed in half a day, with our team securing the brackets into the wall studs and ensuring perfect leveling before mounting the glass shelves.

The challenge during installation was ensuring the steel brackets could support the weight of the glass shelves and whiskey bottles without visible deflection. We reinforced the brackets with additional bracing during fabrication and used heavy-duty anchors during installation to guarantee a secure, long-lasting hold.

The shelving system features satin black steel brackets that create a floating effect for the glass shelves, giving the whiskey bar a modern, airy look. The transparent glass contrasts with the dark metal, highlighting the whiskey bottles as a focal point.

We worked closely with 360 Construction on this project. Framers ensured the wall was prepped for secure mounting, while drywall teams coordinated to maintain a clean finish around the shelving. Electrical teams adjusted lighting to accentuate the display.
