360 Custom Handrails is the handrail studio of 360 Metalwork & Fabrication — founded as a specialized arm of 360 Construction. We transform luxury residential homes in Austin with custom handrails, staircases, and structural metal.
Born from a passion for precision and creativity, we work iron, steel, aluminum, bronze, and copper. The shop handles cutting, welding, fabrication, powder coating, and on-site installation. The mission is simple: make metal beautiful in every Austin home we touch.
Based in southeast Austin with a workshop in the northeast, we cover the city and west to Lakeway. Notable work includes 4807 Lansing Dr., 4600 Gillis St., 514 Powell Cir., and Rivka Cove. Collaborations with 360 Construction and Baron Custom Design have earned design award nominations.

Cylindrical outdoor stair rails in high-grade steel, TIG welded and powder-coated black. Hand-templated to the grade.
Handcrafted Steel Rail Install
Sunridge cathedral-style interior rails. Four-day fab with on-site templating; hidden anchors and custom brackets.
Sunridge Spiral Staircase
Rivka Cove loft stair — assembled and powder-coated in the shop, laser-leveled and anchored in one day.
SoMa Sink Mounting Post
Solid steel cylinder at 4600 Gillis. Satin black powder coat, custom base plate, seating clearance around the island.
How we work
We never say “no.” We ask “how.”
Every rail is templated, welded, coated, and set by the same crew. No subcontracted fab.
Template
On-site measurements and hand templates for stairs, balconies, and vaulted lines — including Lakeway and west Austin jobs.
Fabricate
Cut and TIG welded in the northeast Austin workshop. Pre-fit joints and brackets so install day stays tight.
Coat
Powder coat in matte black, satin black, or gloss white — finish matched to the home and built for outdoor weather.
Install
One-day typical set with hidden anchors and portable welders for field tweaks. Same crew that built it.
